This mosaic was handcrafted by Rugo Stone mosaic artists for the Walter Reed Medical Center Hospital in Bethesda, MD. The mosaic sits in an open light well within the main lobby entrance, in a meditative space. The mosaic wall feature was designed to provide hope and inspiration to the patients in the hospital. It is crafted of Venetian glass and was installed by our artisans on a portland cement plaster surfaced masonry wall.
