Private Residence

The homeowner expressed her desire for a white marble that is not too busy, with subtle veins and warm tones to compliment her light-colored cabinets and satin finish faucets. The Rugo team helped the client select Calacatta Sponda marble, which worked perfectly for this kitchen project. The large center island was waterjet cut to create a curved seating area. It featured an ogee design for the edge profile, contrasting with the simple edges on the perimeter countertops. The honed/matte finish applied to the marble further softened the look of the marble and blended well with the other design elements in the room.
