This project consists of 27,000 sqft of French limestone cladding, both flat, and radial faced. The project also includes 1,000 sqft of granite base, and another 3,000 sqft of detailed landscape stone stairs, walls, and paving.
Rugo Stone worked very closely with the project designer in pre-construction, utilizing a design-assist approach to select the stone type, an elegant limestone from France, and was successful in negotiating the project directly with the University.
This pre-selection of Rugo Stone allowed for a design-assist method for the stone detailing, logistics, and installation. This method of procurement resulted in project delivery on time, under budget, and there were no rejections of the stone due to this highly collaborative method of procurement.
